So many of us are struggling with diabetes and how it affects our lives and our families lives. Whether you are Type 1 or 2, either can be a diagnose you are not prepared to accept.
As a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic for 44 years has given me a lot of time to learn and fail at controlling this disease. Imagine starting senior year in high school with a brand new diagnosis that will forever change the way you eat, exercise, do almost anything in your life. Was I happy? Heck no, but after a few months I came to realize I was lucky. I could have been diagnosed with something much worse and life ending. This is not to say I took right up with finger sticks, shots, and watching my diet. I was a hot mess for quite a few years and at times tried to forget I was diabetic, ( didn't work) lol. I did give up sodas with sugar and cut way back on candy etc. but even today I do cheat. So, how did I get better control of my downhill spiral? I started working in the medical field and was a cna while attending nursing school. During 1 of my shifts I met a man getting his leg amputated that day for an infection that never healed due to his diabetes and high sugar levels. This was an eye opening picture of what I would face if I too let my mind over ride my health. Here is when my new journey began.
I started on an insulin pump and following a much more adequate eating plan of less junk and more veggies, low cal foods and checking my sugars more often. Fast forward to almost 40 years later and I was introduced to Moringa. We found our forever home on a Moringa farm here in Florida. As a nurse I had never heard of Moringa nor the benefits it can provide everyone. I was already following a low carb eating plan and adding Moringa to my daily regimen was like finding the missing puzzle piece. As we researched we found so many great articles on diabetes control using Moringa that we of course introduced our family members to it also. A1c levels have improved for almost everyone we have spoken to that has diabetes as long as they also continue to watch their intake and medications.
I encourage everyone to look at diabetes and treat it as just an inconvenience, not a life sentence. You can control this with a little perseverance and live a great life.
How does Moringa help diabetes?
"Moringa has been shown in several studies to significantly lower blood sugar levels in diabetic patients. Its leaves are rich in antioxidants like Quercetin, which reduces blood pressure, and Chlorogenic Acid, aiding in sugar metabolism and insulin management.
In addition to its blood sugar benefits, Moringa offers a range of other advantages including reduced fatigue, enhanced immunity, clearer skin, improved muscle growth, and lower stress levels. While we recommend incorporating this superfood into everyone's diet, diabetics stand to gain particularly.
If you're looking to better manage your glucose levels, discover how adding Moringa to your diet can help."
Has anyone indicated how many & how many times a day they are taking Moringa and getting improved glucose levels? Thanks
